Get a cat, or a dog that likes stinky things. Maybe they could point you in the right direction. My dog can find any stinky thing, and she likes to bring it to me so I know how stinky it really is.

Boy if that's not the truth, but man, that really sounds terrible, and I know how bad I am with smells, SOMEBODY would have to go in there, find that rascal and get it out!!! Good luck!

I hate to say it, but it may be long dead and descicated and the smell can still stick around. Had it happen to my uncle's old farm buggy with a small family of mice. The smell ended up getting into the seats and headliner... only thing to do was burn it... *sigh* we're rednecks...

Thanks. Well I've pulled out anything and everything I can. And still no luck. Unfortunately I think I am gonna have to wait the smell out.

Anyway I just bought this stuff that's supposed to work well on absorbing the stink. http://togetridofmice.com/2008/12/ge...use-smell.html

I'll keep yall posted.

I do recall Chrysler had a bad problem several years ago with the evaporator stinking real bad from mold and mildew . I would call Chrysler and see if your truck falls into that category . I've pulled the dash apart in several Rams for heater core replacement . If your not real familiar , it could get ugly quick . I'll see what I can find . Tom

Hey thanks for the info. I pulled up the carpet in the front a few weeks ago and it was dry as a bone, no leakage.

But just to update yall. I got the "air freshener" I posted about and let it set in the truck with the windows down in the sun for the last few weeks and thankfully the odor is dissapating.

I think the little critter got into my AC unit and died because when I put my dash back together last weekend and tested the Heat/AC fur started flying out of my AC vents!! lol I had to laugh at this point becuase I just can't be pis--d off any more. It's been too long. Any way I suppose he has decomposed and his fur is falling off. So now it only stinks when I blast the heat. So long as I keep it off and my windows cracked I can't really smell it. Hopefully in a few weeks all the smell will be gone.

Thanks again to all you rammers who posted. It's been a long month for me and my poor Dodge, but we are on the road again!
