Default opinion on some wheel's

A friend across from me is selling some after market wheels off of an 08 or09 jeep comander hella cheap!. Now hears the thing I like the style of the wheels not to flashey 6 spoke 5 lug universal. This is my thing and where I want an opinion. There 22" with 233\33 r22 tires basicly bicycle rims with rubber bands I have to relace 2 tires so ill steep up too 235\35 r22. I added pic with stock rim and what might be new rim agenst truck for comparison. Also what would I have to do for speedo? I will keep stock rim and tire for cold weather. But new rims will add an inch in hight over all will computer keep up? Any thoughts or opinions appricated good or bad. The wife sed I'm nuts so there's one!

233 33 22 gives a calculated diameter of 28"
235 35 22 gives a calculated diameter of 28.5"

Are you sure that's the correct size? I've never heard of tire sizes that weren't in intervals of 5 mm...

If it is correct, I wouldn't worry about that 1/2" difference, it will be a VERY minor error in the speedometer. I ran 31" tires on my s10(stock is like 26" or 28" or something) and the speedometer was off like 10mph at 70mph, no big deal to me. It also screws up the odometer but oh well. 1/2" diameter makes little difference(Might even be within the "acceptable error range").

Either way though, I don't think those wheels will work. I believe Jeep Commander bolt pattern is 5x5 and ram is 5x5.5. Not sure what you meant by it is "universal"...

Universal means it had two sets of lug paterns . His jeep is all wheel drive so I think he had bigger patern.

My wife has a Jeep Commander and the lug pattern is 5x5. Double check the other pattern in the universal setup to make sure it's 5x5.5 before you spend the money.

Oh no worry's on money haven't. Dropped a dime on them yet. And I do have one to mount on truck. Just haven't had time to do it. Just wanted an idea of what others thought about look. I don't want to look like a dink with dub's on a truck. The plus is there not all chrome. I don't like that on older reams I've seen some chrome 22's on gen 2's didn't look right. I'm hopeing black with the polished aluminum looks better.

Well there mounted. Speedo is about 2 to 3 mph off so far. The black on aluminum dsnt look bad agenst the white being that's kind of the theam I'm looking for ( basic smooth, little chrome). But the next thing any one know how to cure salt pitting? The setup is one pice rim with black powder coat and michened trim edge and what looks like clear coat edge to look like a 2 pice rim.
