Default Diablo Sport Intune

Ive been reading a lot about the Diablo Sport Intune and was wondering if anybody had any thoughts or opinions on it? Im looking for better fuel mileage and some added power and throttle response when wanted. Im not willing to run higher octane (fuel is to expensive out here) so is it not worth it to run with 87 octane? Are there any risks with running it? Help me out boys!! got the mod bug!

I've run all three of the tunes 87, 91, and 93 octane with there respective fuels... The 87 octane tune, has some more performance than the stock tune (I didn't really notice until I went back to stock, I guess I got used to it). Each one of the tunes 87, 91, and 93 get a little meaner as you go. Also playing around with some of the quick adjusts like throttle sensitivity really make it come alive.

I bought my DS Intune back in January and have been running different tunes. I must say I love mine. It makes a huge difference in get up and go. My MPG's are up this year over last year. I figure it will pay for its self by years end. I have noticed running the DiabloSport tune, a.k.a. 93 I get KR (spark knock) when I jump on it. They tell me not to use Shell gas, so I switched to Exxon/Mobil I have put about 80 gallons or so in it the last 4-6 times fill up and top offs, but I am still getting the KR when driving aggressively. If I keep my foot out of it, I am getting very good MPG's with running 93 octane. I am getting about 1-2 mpg's better with 93 than 87 with the tune. I tried the MPG booster tune and it did not seem to do a lot, except rob power. My advice, buy it update it when needed. Test it out for yourself. You have 30 days to return it,so.... Good luck.
P.S. I looked at BDog and DS intune was best for not having to hard wire it in. Plug the intune into the OBDII port upload a tune when done, unplug and put away.

Not trying to hyjack the thread.....I have been seriously looking at the INTUNE and have been reading thread after thread, (here and other sites). I do have good computer knowledge and looking to increase MPG. Is this the tuner for me? It seams like the OP and I are looking for the same thing.

Thanks,

I own one of these for another hemi and it's worth the money to me,for 250 or whatever they cost now you'll have instant power plus options/tire size adjustment for speedo/trans shift adjustment/and if you have throw a engine light it will give you the code.
I haven't got one for the truck cause been busy getting the hard stuff done first but it's on the list, customer support help me 2x,don't know much about the gas saving thought I was getting better gas mpg.i believe it would get better mpg if they say so,they have no reason to lie its a great product,it's just hard to stay off the pedal.

@ Platinuminjected I see your from Alberta also. I have a question about your Bilstein 5100 MOD. Leveling a truck using those shocks, is it hard on front end parts?

Wouldnt let me PM, haven't done enough posts yet.

PS know anyone in FT MAC looking for a 02 Cummins with 219K on it, asking 11,500
