I painted my calipers gloss black and they look really good. I painted them myself. All I did is use caliper spray paint and also used a paint brush to get the little spots I missed plus I put like 3 coats on so they r guarantee to last longer. It only took me one day to do all of them plus it only costed me $30

DODGERT, I've done this all the time as well and never had issues with the paint I use and yes ur right they do chip but I've notice they start chipping after a few years of wear and tear, then all u gotta do is go over them again for really cheap. I would never pay $200+ for caliper covers that will also chip in the near future. That's just my opinion though.

Well Ram2300, after about 20,000 miles there is not one chip in the covers, after a wash they look as good as the day they arrived, plus they keep the nasty brake dust on my wheels to a minimum. They look good even dirty... So well worth the $ IMO....
