Alpine Type R pretty well fits into everything. The mounting Depth is 6 7/8" so what ever box you choose go by that number.

You should be able to fit it in the atrend box.
The question is....how much air does your sub require?
Im still guessing it will be enough for your Type R sub.
It is slightly more than required for my sub
