Default difference between reg. and quad cab..

so i have pretty much decided on the magnaflow 14. just have a couple questions. a buddy of mine has the 14 on his quad cab express and its fairly loud. sounds good tho. i have a regular cab express and wondering what the difference would be with my truck having less pipe than a quad cab. will it be louder??? also, as we all know stock muffler is 3in in 2.25 out, only 14in magnas i see and 3in 2.5 out. will that be ok???

I'm pretty sure they can stretch your 2.25 inch pipe to make it fit

It might be a little louder but not enough to really notice since you are really only talking about a few feet of pipe.

I would replace the pos factory Y pipe at the same time that way you are running a full 3" pipe from the new Y pipe to the new muffler.
