The obvious question here is how did you get it submerged in water in the middle of Arizona?

Have you ever gotten stuck in the snow in Florida?

Seriously though, this is how my truck performed BEFORE the PCM Flash.
The dealership should be aware of the update for this but if they are being stubborn/lazy (like my dealership) you will need to find the report (someone posted it here) print it out and take it to the dealership.

Tell them what you are experienceing and then show them the star report that chrysler claims will address it.

Well the nice thing about driving in Az is that it doesn't rain. The bad part is that when it does things get bad real quick.

We have a lot of washes and they cross roads all the time. The dirt out here is like, or is, ca-litchi or whatever it's called. When it gets wet it acts like clay and gets real slippery. I was driving a back road on the way home and it's got a section of unpaved road about 2 miles long. The dirt/clay was wet and when I went to stop, from 15 mph at that, the truck slide towards the other side of the road. There was water and I knew it was a ditch before I went in. As soon as the driver side tires hit the water I stopped moving forward and went sideways almost up to the windows on the drivers side.

I tried to get out but the stock tires on these trucks just packed with mud and acted like racing slicks in the rain. I could go forward and backward 10 feet in either direction but every time I tried exiting the ditch I would get half way up and slide back in.

After trying for 30 minutes to get out on my own I knew I was stuck. I called for a tow and it took almost an hour for them to get to me. Total time in the water was almost 2 hours.

Yeah it is a 4x4 but it had the stock highway passenger car radials on it. They packed with mud the second I left the road. I tried everything I could to get out. This wasn't my first rodeo but it was one of the very few times I couldn't get out on my own. I can't count the number of times I almost fell just walking from the front doors to the tow hitch to hook the chains up. It was slippery like ice.
