Nice i ran the same one and while sounding and flowing great it was just to way to loud for it to be tolerable for me. Removed it last week for a much more quiet and less resonating Magnaflow w/ internal X. Other that being to loud i loved it.

The welder/mechanic told me it was a pretty simple install once the pipes were bent he put them on no problem. Let me know if you need anything else. This was a lot cheaper than a full system.

Have you thought about selling it? Is it a single in or dual in?

I got my Flowmaster 44 Super installed today and it sounds awe-some! Midas charged me $150 for installation. Because the Flowmaster was quite a bit shorter than the stock they had to insert an extension piece between the cat and the muffler and do a couple of very minute custom bends. They did a very nice job of making sure that the tailpipe tips lined up and were evenly spaced in the indentations in the rear bumper. Definitely worth the $220. They gave me the option so I had them weld everything.

I replaced the stock exhaust with a Magnaflow cat back setup and a new y-pipe. I love the sound but after all of the packing burned off in the muffler, the drone in the cab got really bad. I had numerous passengers complain so I put a resonator back on. That knocked the drone way down and the Magnaflow still sounds great at WOT. Like others have said before, go with whatever sound you prefer. I do recommend the y-pipe upgrade though for improved flow and slight performance improvement.

I am going next week to have the Magnaflow installed and was thinking about having them take out the resonators. Was it really loud in the cab without it? I want it loud but not to the point where I have to yell while driving.

With which Magnaflow catback?

I have the Magnaflow 16869 [which requires the OEM resonators deleted] and to this day have absolutely no drone!
