Thanks for the posts.... I guess after thinking about it I might order my kit and call Bell Tech to see if they will send the new parts direct. It will take several months for the kits on dist. shelves to be sold and new full kits with the panhard relocator in it to be stocked. I am just ready to ge it going. I think I am going to C notch the frame as well. I am sure all you guys who are 40 something, you will remember the full size chevy craze. It was standard practice to C notch the frame with the 4-6 drop. I see the new RAMS as the same situation. There just isn't enough room for safe travel and keep the truck at full use.

Take a closer look at the back. The upper link bar is going to prevent the use of a traditional c-notch. With a button style bump stop there's a fairly decent amount of travel left after a 5" drop. I haven't felt mine bottom out yet....I have very few miles on it though.
A set of helper air bags will easily restore any lost towing capabilities.

I have looked it over and it will not be easy but it will happen on my truck. The button style is not enough for when I am pulling a trailer and there are too many complaints on here about the bags raising the back with minimal air pressure. On my 11 RT I did not have issues using the factory front stops in the stock rear location but I also did not pull my trailer with it. I have endless access to new RAMS and would use one from the lot to pull with. Now that I have a Crew I want to use my truck when I am pulling my car. I hope it goes well and will document what I do with it. I do see what you are saying.

the issue that everyone is having with the airbags lifting the rear is due to them using the wrong airbag kit. I contacted airlift my self and gave them the measurements of my new drop springs and they suggested Airlift 1000 kit (part#60824). I have this kit installed and there was absolutely no increase in rear ride height. just my two cents.

I used that kit also (it's for the Durango) and there was no change in ride height with 5 or 30 psi.

Have I missed this in another post? Last I knew was all the complaints about raising the rear with 5 psi. In this case I would use the bags. How does it ride with them at 5 psi?

I thought it rode great but I installed the kit maybe 2 weeks before going on deployment and dropping my truck off at MGH's shop back in June. Guess what I'm saying is I didn't really put too many miles on it before leaving but I don't remember it being bad. I'll be getting my truck back in a couple weeks so I'll let you know for sure when I drive it from DE to FL.
