I've had mine since Valentine's day 2011. It's been good--although I am finding more and more that the service dept. at my dealer is inept.

The RAM mudflaps were installed by them, and look as if the special kid in shop class custom-cut them to fit. They also used sheet metal screws through the plastic wheel well to attach them instead of clips. I'm no bodywork pro, but it doesn't seem right.

When I complained of poor fuel consumption, engine power and transmission response, they told me that they could check for updates for my various subsystems, but if they were already current, it would cost $60 for checking. If there was an update... covered under warranty. It turned out that there were several updates, so no charge, but do you think that they've tracked the updates, or will it be another "spin the wheel and take your chances" encounter next time?

Update on performance and fuel economy--although I take it in for all of the maintenance, I decided to check the air filter before my summer vacation. It was pitch black. Nice work, guys! New filter: 20.5 mpg highway...

I miss my 2005--instead of the enormous console with the shifter, it had a center seat in the front to carry six passengers. Mileage was better. Performance seemed better (no dyno to confirm). Honestly, if it wasn't for the look of the 2011 I wouldn't have updated... (note: not upgraded...)

i like the front bench myself. i guess service dept's are under the same pressure as sales to milk everything they can from the customer.

Thought mine was the only one with the rouge overflow cap. I ended up rotating mine 180 degrees, so it would catch on the platic shroud/cover on top of the radiator support. Has staid closed since.

20K and going strong for me.

Only complaint is that the dealership attempted to sell my truck as an Auburn "Tailgate Edition" (truck is Deep water blue and they painted the bottom 6" and the fender flairs bright orange) then painted over it with silver when they were unable to sell the truck like that. After maybe 2 months I started getting rock chips in the silver behind the wheel wells leaving bright orange spots on my truck.

The only reason I know they attempted to sell it as a "Tailgate Edition" is bc about a month after buying it I could see where the sticker on the tailgate used to be

I have 43k on my 2011 now and overall I am still happy with the truck. Brakes are starting to pulsate some and I will be replacing in near future. The original Wrangler HP's are pretty toasted and I rotate them quite frequently. My heater blower was replaced around 30k by the dealer for loud squeaking. I have the infamous rattle in the center of the dash above the radio. At 38k I failed state inspection for bad outer tie rods. I could not buy them anywhere aftermarket so I ended up forking the dealer $490 for replacement and alignment...since I was 2k miles out of warranty. It appears one of my park assist sensors is shot now since the park assist light is on on the dash and disabling the system. Other than this, problem free averaging 17.5mpg mixed driving. I don't wheel or beat the truck, adult owned and drive a lot for work in the rust belt. My last truck was a Tundra and I drove it to 100k completely issue free..not even a set of brakes just tires and oil no BS. MPG was not as good, ride was not as good, and most importantly for the same truck this time around Toyota wanted about 14k more at end of day....that is a lot of tie rods.

just finished a year last week. have 32000kms, have averaged 15.7l/100km daily commute drive and 12l/100km highway (tonneau cover, tires at 40psi, cruise set, 110km/h).
No probelms at all.
Love the truck, don't like the mileage.
Ran studded snow tires last winter (after sliding out of control down a gentle hill in traffic one morning on the wranglers). Great 4x4 system-had it in some deep snow at times-love the switch on the dash. Have my wranglers about 3/4 worn-will need new for next summer.
Love the power!!! Tranny/tc seem fine. Engine seems to be running great: no tick, knock, stutter... Handling is great.
Just came back from a 1500km trip. Averaged 12.2L/100km over all (with about 50km city), loaded with fam and gear-about 500lbs total load. Last year that same trip is the reason I traded up to a full sized crew cab. Rolling down the highway, the air on, the cruise set, the stereo playing softly in the back ground, no wind noise, smooth ride... awesome!!!

i did the flaps myself. in the back it uses 3 existing nuts so i didn't drill the 4th. upfront i drilled the 3rd but since i did it i can rest assured paint was put on the drilled metal.

Just thought i'd check in here. one year and one Month on my 1500 outdoorsman with no problems. I do have the squeeky door problem so ill have to lube it. Am seriously reviewing the TLC air bags since i just bought a 26" 5th wheel. It sags a few inches in the rear. So far, i have been happy with the power it has with the 6,000 LB trailer.

Iv had mine 14 months now and the only problem iv had was the truck not turning over a few times, turned it into the service department and the reset the computer and havent had the problem since. Amazing trucks. taken the truck on multiple 1000+ mile trips with no rattles or anything blowing up.
