Default Any way to tighten up the steering on a 2012?

I'd like to have a firmer feel to the steering...it's way too light for me.
Is there any way to adjust it tighter so it doesn't dart around so much?

An alignment could solve your problem. There are ways to adjust it so that you have a different feel. Just be aware that it could affect your tire wear.

Does the darting around you speak of happen mostly over bumps? Have you checked your alignment and tire pressure?

Alignment and tires have less than 100 miles on them. This is the way the factory builds them. Some people like light steering feel....I'm not one of them. lol

So an alignment has been done after the suspension mods?

I don't like ps on some cars and even converted some of my older cars to manual.

Of course it was aligned after the mods...it was drastically out of spec after. It's actually been aligned twice just to verify the first shops work.

Isn't it funny how often we have to double check the work of a shop now a days?

If the only issue you have is that the power steering is too much assist then I think you're out of luck. But if it's darting around then you have something else going on.

Good luck.

Yea, I think the OP is saying it's too light, or easy. I don't know how you'd get less assist. I'd like it a little more resistive myself.

Where I get my alignments and tires, the guy always tightens my steering wheel when he is done
