Default The silver lining

Ok, word to the wise... It is NOT a good idea to try and tint your windows yourself outside when it is even MILDLY windy. Tried this last weekend and ended up wasting half a roll of tint material. First I cut it for the wrong window (Which was fine. Both windows are the same.) But when it came time to put the tint on, I did nothing but fight the breeze and ended up with creases and fingerprints. So in a fury, I ripped it off and decided to try again later.

Fast forward to this weekend. Haven't gotten a new roll of tint and I've decided to wait until I can go into the shop I work in and pull the window completely out and tint it that way. Won't be working against gravity, weatherstripping, etc...

The silver lining of the whole ordeal is, I have a half roll to experiment with. I did this on my last Ram and really liked it. Keeps the headlights at night dimmed down but doesn't impede visibility. Let me know what yu guys think. I don't think I've seen anyone else do this. I know I was the first on Dodge Trucks Extreme back in '01.
