Lightbulb 2000 Dodge Ram stereo questions

Hello All
I have a 2000 Model Dodge Ram. It came with an AM-FM Cassette stereo. I switched it out to a 2000 Dodge Ram stereo that is AM-FM Cassette & CD. I have changed my door & rear cab pillar speaker's with Pioneer brand that will handle 200 Watt's of power. I am wanting to add a stereo amplifier to my existing system. My question is can I simply plug in a factory amplifier to my existing radio ? If I can do this what years will work with my 2000 Ram as far as wiring goes being the same, and do I need to Locate a Dodge Ram that had this Amplifier option to get the wiring for my add ? How many Amp's are the factory amplifier's ? Also who made the Stereo's for Dodge Ram's back in the 2000 Year ? I have heard that they were made by Alpine as well as Infinity, but I would like to know for sure what brand my Factory stereo is ? Thank's for any response to my question's here I really appreciate it. Best regards, Hammerdown
