the hype with the Vararam is when your moving to create a "ram air" effect, but on a dyno, you wouldnt see it. just be a higher flowing intake, and the mullfer and y-pipe really makes a difference on letting out the air. I wonder if the stock size throttle body is a massive restriction for our trucks?? Do you have a picture of the dyno sheet??

No picture, but I sent a PDF of it to Matt. I'm hoping he posts it for me. Or I could e-mail it if someone else cares to do it sooner. If interested, shoot me a PM

Here is your dyno sheet. Thanks again. Your truck put up some great numbers for such few mods.

I'm looking to get one of your Throttle bodies for sure, but this dyno seems a little crazy for the jump. They only thing I can think of is the intake helped and the exhaust helped, and the TB, was the pinch point. Once swapped out for larger, it helped the whole set of parts work together. Either way, it seems like a huge restriction that needs to be replaced...lol

There is such a thing as too big, u wouldnt want to go more then a 85mm with basic bolt on mods. MF2000 what were your mods again? I haven't been able to get to a dyno around here I trust so I have been loosely guessing at what I have.

My mods were Vararam, Diablo 93 tune, Aero 3030xl muffler, magnaflow y pipe at the time of the dyno and that was the baseline on th dyno. I took 5 mins to install the 85mm TB and dyno-ed again with an additional 26 ponies. The 3rd pull was virtually identical to the 2nd run. I can't explain the huge increase, but I'm very happy with it

there's no way an 80mm t/b was that much of a restriction on a 325rwhp motor, especially at 3200 rpms...wtbs nice gains. guess that's why they say evey motor is different.

as a general rule is takes about 1.5 cfm per 1 hp. an 80mm t/b flows in the mid 900 cfms.

I read up on an 80mm Hemi TB that was water flow tested at 1020 CFM. But you also have to think, why do the power packages require a larger TB then the stock 80mm? HEMI Power Trip Package is an extra 100hp +/- to the wheels with Heads, Cam, AND 85mm cast TB. So lets just say 500 at the crank?? 500 x 1.5 = 750cfm. As where stock 390hp x 1.5 = 585cfm and the stock TB flows 1020cfm??? Not calling you out.... I couldnt agree more with every motor reacts different!!! I have the same bike as a buddy. EXACT same mods. Mine is fast and puts down more HP than his....lol (boy was he mad)
