Default Tire Question

So I did my research, and I'm ready to order new tires but I want to be absoluetly sure this will fit right..

I have a 2004 Ram 1500 QC 4x4 5.7L with 17" Rims.. I also have that slight nose dive to the front, which I plan on leveling out..

Will LT285/70R17 tires fit without the level yet? I just want to make sure because I'm ordering them soon.. I also plan I doing the level soon, just can't yet.. Thanks

That will fit no problem...it is pretty much the same height as the 275/60 20 that comes stock for a lot of people...its actually 2/10s shorter

That's what I thought.. I did my homework and read the fitment guide, I was just worried because my front is lower than the back and I was sure if it would affect my height.. I just had to double check because if I went to order them and go to put them on and it didn't clear the front id be screwed lol.

Just curious. how are they going to "level it"? My 03' has torsion bar suspension which can be adjusted for height (each side individually) a small amount. I think all the newer dodges have the same setup. How bad is it sagging?

Thats why you don't shop at OK4WD.
New keys are $100, installed and adjusted should take less than an hour so that means that they are charging $400 to install?? Thats a big rippoff..

But...... it's about as bad of a rippoff as buying new keys. They do the same exact thing as cranking your stock keys, with with the added benifit of lightening your wallet.
Crank your stock keys and save the $100 for an alignment and lunch.

As far as the tires go, you will be fine. I might even go a little taller.

Exactly!!! You can level your truck right now all by yourself for free! If you want to do some searching about cranking the torsion bars you will find plenty of info. There are even a few youtube vids with Rams. I cranked mine about 1-1/8" and it got me the look I wanted. I wouldn't lift the front too much more than that....certainly no more than 2". If you still have questions after you search the topic, hit us up again. Be glad to give you some pointers.
