Default Death Wobble

Need some help had the 09 upgrade from dodge, useless as they did all of there upgrade yet they would not replace the track bar. I replaced it and its a custom from ren, yet the front end now again is doing the death wobble at about 55mph. Local 4x4 did great job tightening up issues, now I need help right back where we started. Any help....

Have the wheels balanced at a good shop. Also, the 03 and up track bars aren't like the ones on 2nd gen's, which had a ball joint end and prone to wearing out quicker. Chrysler eliminated that in 03. Check to see if anything is loose as well.

Hey Double O I'm hijacking this thread...I know you got the new rims and tires on your truck but what have you narrowed your wobble down to?

AND have you determined which side it is? I didn't know which tire I had out of balance. Got a good grip on my phone and held it out the window.

haven't narrowed it down at all. I know my.new tire/wheel setup is a major factor, 37/12.5r16.5 Hummer style beadlocks. they are heavy steel rims.

I have play in my steering box. There's a bracket from Custom Diesel (there a company on here too!) and they fit 1500 to 3500 4x4s, CLAIMED to cure the death wobble. ill be investing in one of those shortly as a start.

Monday I'm taking it down to the the local off-road shop. they said because of the size, mine cannot be balanced with normal means. so they are gunna put the powder/sand in the wheels, to help balance them. I've heard only good stuff about it.

I've also been considering a new track bar. I'm leaning towards Luke's link, a rebuild kit for your oe bar, but only the oe bar. as im not the original owner, idk if I'm still sitting on the oe or not, so with that, Drew can you get me a picture of your track bar for conpairison? ill put up a picture of mine in a bit.

that's as much homework/research I've done for now on the *key Darth Vaders theme song* Gawd awful DEATH WOBBLE......

ok I want to say I've read somewhere that the oe bar doesn't have a greaseable fitting, which this one does, so that's why I'm questioning
