Default Exhaust Manifold issue

Okay idk if this is the place for this but my first issue is with my passenger side exhaust manifold. It is cracked and i have the spare to replace both of them but my problem is There seems to be a bolt that is broke off inside the screw hole and one of them is stripped...i was wondering if i could get some advice on getting those out lol.

With the utter most care not to screw up the female threads try drilling a little hole into the bolt stuck inside when they are old this will make them often fall apart and than you might be able to get a needle nose or something like that in there and pull em out. Im sure there is a more pro way to do it I just often do this at my job and it works alotta times (im not an auto mechanic) hopefully I understood one of your issues correctly im trying to picture it in my head good luck

The best thing that you can do is get some sort of bolt extractor. They're a PITA to use, you'll probably scrape off some skin on your knuckles, but eventually they do the job.

Something like this is what I mean. They come in all shapes and sizes, and you can probably find them at your local auto parts store or Harbor Freight.

good luck

Exco
