You did a great job that looks on par with shop spray-ins.

Well done indeed!

I kind of wish that I had gotten a rambox but its kind of weird looking not having the full bed...

I wonder if they could have kept the bed as is and put smaller boxes in the sides? If im not mistaken the older avalanches had boxes and the bed was the regular size... could be wrong...?

The rambox bed is wide enough to fit a piece of plywood, what else do you need? My boxes are full of tools all the time. And they are exremely handy for quick access storage imo. Well worth the $1200 option.

yeah, the only thing that you are missing are the notches on both sides of the fenderwells... love mine, use the hell out of them.

+100 on that. My main concern was being able to park a quad in the back- 49.5" from the insides of the cleats on the rail means more than enough room. My 450 Foreman with MudBug tires fits just fine. The Rambox boxes hold so much gear, keeps it clean and out of the way, I don't know if I'd want to get rid of it... ever.

I am surprised that this is not a more standard option. storage capacity and overall utility was one of the big reasons why I got a RAM over a ford.

The rambox is one of the reasons i bought the truck. No fenders in the way inside the bed. Perfect for a 48" water tank i plan on putting in the bed. And you can keep everything on the side of your truck instead of having a toolbox behind your rear window.
