Default Edge programmer/ motor cuts out.

Hello everyone, I'm new here but I understand this is the forum to get the right answers. I have an Edge programmer with the attitude module, cold air intake & 5" exhaust. My question is, if I put it to the floor, the motor will stumble or cut out momentarily. It will also throw a check engine light usually when it happens. Anyone else run into this?

CEL=check engine light, also known as an ECL, trouble code, orange motor light, or (my personal favorite) "Honey, the truck's broken again!"

Does this happen on all of the power settings? If it's on the highest power setting, you may be having fuelling issues, but I'll wait to hear what the code is before making a random stab in the dark.

I'll be out of town in my car this weekend but I'll get the code when I get back. Thanks.

Sounds like a sensor issue man. Not too familiar with the edge programmers but after I installed my banks six gun tuner I didn't connect the crankshaft position sensor enough and it would cut out on acceleration and over bumps, just a thought

You actually just reminded me, the shop next door told me they forgot to reinstall the speed sensor when they changed my fan belt. Thanks, I'll have them put it back in & try it again.
