Default RCX Leveling kit and Bilstein 5100s??

Is there any point in installing both RCX 2.5" leveling kit and Bilstein 5100s. I didnt see anything about this but I'm tired of looking. I'm just not sure if there is any benefit to having both or not.

I have the exact question and can't find a clear answer, hopefully someone will answer. Is there any harm to the suspension if an actual lift kit/spacer, etc. is not used and its only the 5100 doing the work.

Will this screw things up down the road?

This is a big no no and should not be done. Unless you're keeping your Bilstein at 0
Otherwise level kits should never be stacked. Especially spacers and Bilsteins.

You CV's will be COMPLETELY out of whack and beyond angle

But again, if you're not setting them to anything, then you're fine

So just do the level? or better with no level and shorter lift?

Sorry for being confused but I took that to mean DONT do just the billstein to level things

If there is a sticky or link for this, please point me to it.....THANKS!

He is saying to do one or the other, level with the Bilsteins or the Rc,not both at the same time because you will be putting too much lift on it without changing the cv angles.

No. Do one or the other I recommend the Bilsteins as you can level up to 2.8" and you'll get an improved ride

Thanks man for clarifying it.
Yea, your truck will not be able to handle both put together.
Not to get technical here. But you can use both if you keep the 5100s at the 0 setting.
But just do the Bilsteins and set it at either 2.1 or 2.8

No nothing of the Bilsteins but I just installed the daystar 2 1/2 leveling poly spacers on my Lonestar equiped 4x4.
Absolutely love it. Just right amount of lift for the front. I still have 1 1/2 inch of rake to my truck. Exactly what I wanted. I started with wheel well measurements of 40 in the rear and 36 1/2 in the front. The daystar kit raised the front 2", not 2 1/2". This makes sense since the puck is the same thickness as the HB 2" spacer.
The truck looks right to me. Couldn't be happier with the product or 4Wheel Specialties work and alignment. Truck rides just as before. Again, the Daystar 2 1/2 inch leveling kit will raise the front up 2".

The only problem with other lifts is that I want both the front and back lifted but not too much thats why I am going with the RCX leveling kit 2.5 front 1.75 back. Thanks for the feed back I knew I wasnt going to set the bilsteins up at all but I want that improved ride quality.

If that is what you want to achieve, the kit you mentioned is the way to go
You will still have the rake if thats what you still want
