Default In-Line electric Fuel pump

Hey all im building a mud truck and i had to remove the stock fuel tank to accommodate the second transfercase. Anyhow, im running a fuel cell in the bed, and will be running an aftermarket inline fuel pump with all new lines.

I read on dodgeram.org that
Quote:
The multi-point fuel injection system consists of an electric fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter, all mounted in the fuel tank; fuel tubes/lines/hoses between the tank and engine; fuel rail on the engine; fuel injectors on the intake manifold; accelerator pedal and throttle cable assembly. A separate fuel return line from the engine to the fuel tank is not used on the V-10.
Now for my V-10 to run correctly, all i have to do is run a filter to a fuel pressure regulator, and then to the injection right?

Thanks for the help. Jesse

It would depend on what type of fuel pump you end up using, some are constant feed pumps that doing do well with stored head pressure, these pumps require a feed line. Examples are the walbro 220 & 400. for your fuel filter you can go with a 2 filter system to get best reliability, so a 150 and a 10 micron filter setup. I personally prefer a single low micron filter, but if you are pulling from the bottom of a fuel cell then you're more likely to have sediment in the tank and the 150 micron will take care of the big stuff without clogging the 10 micron. Some good cheap ones to look at are the jegs brand.
