Default 2nd gear bogs down need help

so for the past few weeks my truck has been acting up. when im light on the gas it shifts into 2nd and is shaky and jumpy until it reaches a certain rpm. when im on the gas it shifts into 2nd and bogs down then after a few seconds it gets all of its power back and just keeps going. so i was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem or maybe anyone just knows what it could be. any help would be great

I don't know if it's going to be an engine problem or a transmission problem. Because I had a person who had a similar issue but there engine needed attention. But to quicken this up, rule out the engine. Check oil pressure, fuel pressure (especially), engine vacuum. Better yet if you can get it on a chassis dyno, do that. Then you can work your way to the transmission. If the engine doesn't have enough power when the transmission shifts then it's going to want to stall out. Yea just try and rule the engine out first.

Yea the list can be very very long, I tell you what I can do. I have the basic equipment to do the diagnostics and I live in Palm Coast which is only I think 25 miles from Daytona beach. If you want and It can only be done this weekend because I am only going to be home for the weekend. You can drive your truck up to my house and I can check the vacuum, fuel, transmission, etc... for free or maybe for a steak. This ways you at least have a better idea of where the problem is originating from. If you are interested just tell me and I can PM my address. I am shooting for Sunday since I just got in less than 1 hr ago.
