Default Adjustable bilstens

Looking for some advice. I bought a 2012 express 4x4 in july been doing a few minor mods. I really hate the way it sits so low in the front. I have been reading on hear and sounds like the bilstens are the way to go. I am looking to raise the front a couple inches for the leveled look. My concern is my warrany, will these void my factory warranty?

It is kind of a touchy area. Granted the law is that the mod has to be proven to cause the failure for it to not be covered under warranty. The best way to avoid any issue is to talk to your dealer. I'm sure if they installed it you would be fine, but that would cost you a pretty penny, people don't call it the stealership for nothing. I have heard nothing but good things about the bilsteins and I am going to get some myself when I have the spare cash.

You can't technically "void" your warranty as a whole with doing minor mods. Whats basically going to happen is if you change out the shocks if anything goes wrong with the truck that is caused by you doing that, thats not covered.

So, for example, if you lift a truck 4 inches and the brake lines snap...not covered. If you lifted your truck 4 inches and the motor stops working or the radio fails, or the differential has a leak...its not caused by the lift so its covered under warranty. If a service department gives you a hard time they're just being *******s. I've worked in service for many years and a lot of places are more than happy to help you and some are just difficult and enjoy being a pain.
