Default 2011 high beams?

is there a kit i can buy, or can somebody tell me how i can get my fogs and dims to stay on with my brights. i was told that when u turn ur brights on it grounds out ur dims and fogs thru a fuse or a relay. and that i could just break off that tab that grounds it out. would this work? and is it safe? somebody please help as my headlights suck. im going to get new bulbs but want to do this first. thanks. truck s a 2011 5.7 hemi

Whoever told you that has no idea what they're talking about. Power is pulse width modulated from the TIPM to the fog lamps. There is no relay involved. In order to have them on at all times, you would need an alternate power source and method of switching.

then why the fogs shut off when the brights come on. thats why i thought it would be relay, getttng grounded out or whatever like a toggle switch would. is there anyway could run a jumper wire from the positive off the brights to the positive of the fogs. then when the brights come on and the dims/ fogs go off the fogs would still be power. and it shouldnt over heat as long as the jumper is the same size as the headlight and fog light wires. this should work for your dims as well, except you would never be able to turn them off if your brights was on. would this wrk? thanks

It's your truck and you can try anything you want. In theory, it would work but it's possible that it could set a code in the TIPM for a short to voltage in the fog lamp circuit.
