Default This or that for performance upgrade?

Ok I already decided when tuners come out I will get one. I already have muffler delete and cai. Now to add those mods plus the tuner. What is the best bang for your buck. A 2600 stall or headers. I'm afraid if I get a tuner and a stall I won't ever get traction. I do have 3.92 but that won't help once the 390 hp is unleashed it's going to make a launch pointless. So do I go the header route. How much hp will I get with a cai muffler delete and headers with a 91 octane tune. Is it worth it. So here I am with this question. Headers or stall. After I get tuner.

I would suggest looking into the header route in order to really get the most out of the upgrades you already have. You have the intake which allows the truck to breathe better, exhaust which is less restrictive allowing it to get rid of the exhaust gasses quicker, and eventually the tune which will open up the truck to its full potential as well as bring everything together. The Headers will allow the exhaust gasses to escape even quicker as well as give it a better sound. Just my .02 Either upgrade though you are going to notice a nice difference!

Add to what OP said if you go with headers you should get the y-pipe to go with it. That will really make it flow nice and easy out the rear.

Have you considered adding LSD, if you don't already have it
spinning 1 tire is easy to do, one wheel wonder
spinning both tires takes a lot more power to break traction

i went with a 2800 circle d stall before the headers and havent been dissapointed at all.. with that said, i also plan on headers soon along with a fastman tb.. i will say the stall knocked over 4/10s of a second off my 1/8 mile times and reduced 60' from 2.21 to 1.91

Yah I forgot to add I have a ported throttle body. And yes I have a LSD also. But it's easy to get sideways in it already so I worry that if I get a tuner alone will make me spin like crazy.. Will a stall make that spinning worse

Does any body have a vid of a reg cab 09+ hemi with a tuner to show the difference. I see 4 doors all the time on YouTube. But there 1000 lbs heavier so I can't really see what it would be like with one on a reg cab.
