I thought you might like a chuckle or two... I resolved my 2007 Dodge Ram Brake Booster Vacuum Hose dilemma.
Embarrassing doesn't even cover it. I feel like the biggest dummy in the whole world. Here's what I found out:
Apparently, after working hard changing out 16 plugs in my HEMI, it was getting dark and I was trying to "getter dun." Well, I inadvertently stuck the vacuum hose coming from the throttle body onto the "capped" port on the front of the booster canister...hence, leaving the "correct" vacuum port uncovered. I was about to pull my hair out trying to "relocate" a phantom hose I thought had fallen off somewhere while I was "test driving" my vacuum hose brake booster problem.
I about fell off the bumper when, to my surprise, I dislodged the vacuum hose while trying to re-attach the manifold cover.
I guess I will just chalk it up to live and learn...the hard way sometimes...but, I promise I won't make this mistake again.
