Default Line X and Bakflip

As some of you may already know I drove to CT an hour and forty five minutes away last week. More on that here... http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=123554

So this Friday I got up early and drove out to CT again.... I get there at 0815hrs no sign of the guy and it's locked up. So I'm thinking maybe he stopped at the store to get what he needs to clean my bed. I sit in my truck and wait, it's raining. Now after sitting there for an hour I start think maybe this is a sign to not get it done. So I call the other shop 26 miles away and ask if they can get me in the guy says no, they are booked up. As I'm talking to him a tech from the Midas next door walks over and tells me the Line X guy had a flat and gave me his cell #. I call him and he says he took his girlfriends car, got a flat on the way in and the spare was no good. He says he's got someone on the way and says 20 minutes or so.
He finally shows up and gets right to work. Working alone from start to finish it took him 5 hours. $525 out the door. He didn't charge me for the extra cleaning which was $50 or the disposal fee for my drop in. Had under the rail and over the tailgate. He followed the line left by the drop in. I couldn't be happier.

Now it's been raining all day and I get home by 1645hrs but the sun is coming out. So I go get my Bakflip and start installing. The passenger side rail went on like a dream. The driver side on the other hand, fought me tooth and nail. Got done just as the light ran out. Had to wait till this morning to take a few pics of the final product.

I have a BakBox also. Wont have time to install it till Wednesday though.

Awesome! I love my linex. Glad they were good to you, and it was just a minor delay that's understandable. How'd you get that stuff off the bed, anyway?

What made you decide to pull the body plugs? I couldn't decide then last minute had them spray over them. Happy I did, but JW what benefit there is to having them removed? I still have drain holes near the cab in the bed.

I tried 3M adhesive remover. It worked on the lite parts. I heard him using power tools. A sander I think. He didn't get it all though. If you look in the second pic it is still on the vertical surface. I'm gonna try a few things, though I don't know if I will get to it before spring at this point. I wouldn't even bother with it if I didn't have an LED tail light bar that has to go there.

There were no plugs there when he removed the bed liner. I ran the drain tubes for the Bakflip through there. Been thinking about getting a set though.

ok I see. FYI if you want to replace the two plugs on the bed floor on the driver side, I have the part number for them. I had one missing and replaced it before doing the linex. I couldn't find the P/N anywhere, even the dealer couldn't help me. I ended up just ordering parts and returning them until I found the right one lol.

Yeah I do actually as well as the other two. I looked on LMC last night but they don't have the plugs I need.
