Default CAI Mod Issue

Installed my first Mod to my engine. A Airram MBX CAI. Came apart really easily, went back together just as easy. Except for one problem. I tried for an hour, to take the factory air sensor off. Couldn't, so here is my new CAI with a factory air tube
Any Ideas how to take it off?

it should just pull right out, if i remember correctly when i did mine i had to kinda of pry the grommet out with the plug still in it then take the plug out or reuse the same grommet this is what i did hope this helps. then you will have something that resembles this

Use just a touch of dielectric grease. Put a bit on, then give a few twists and it should pop right out. I had the same problem until the grease!! You can do it!!
