Default Easiest and best way to level my truck out?

I want to level the ride from the front to the rear and get rid of the gap between the bed and the rear wheels. What is the easiest or th best way o lower the truck? Can I just lower the rear to ahieve my goal? I threw in a picture of the truck from the rear to show what I have.

The leaf packs are just replacement leaf springs for the rear axle. The shackles are what connects the leaf springs to the frame towards the rear of the truck. They allow the spring to move during flex so as not to bind up and rebound, causing a rough and bouncy ride. New leaf packs are always the safest option when changing suspension pieces. But shackles are usually the most cost effective when lowering the rear.

Most trucks the differential sits on the bottom of the leaf spring . Might try moving the differential to the top of the spring . Will have to weld another set of spring perches on the differential to do it though . I'm thinking of 4x4 . Not sure now if thats what you have on your truck .

after a little searching around, this thread seamed like a good one to bump for my question.
i have an 02 2500 ram 4x4 with a broken rear shackle.i'm not sure how common this is,but it's the only piece under the truck thats rusted.the bracket that mount's it to the frame isn't rusted.so,i'm not going to buy them from the dealer.i would like to find something from a reputable aftermarket brand.i've seen the belltech set, which might work with very little height difference.
now to the problem.
i can't seem to find a listing for my truck.they seem to list them for 94-01 1500's everywhere.i checked the link above at jeg's also(aggie posted).mine is still a 2nd gen body style, but not sure if the spring is wider then a 1500.i also found some listed up to 1999 for a 2500.
any opinion's and advise would be great from the more experianced.thanks in advance.
keith

Quick question, is it a 3/4ton? if it's the 1/2 ton, the spring should be the same, but if it's a 3/4 ton you're looking at a beefier and thicker spring pack. I hope Greg jumps in too, he's done a lot more drops than I have. Also, if you're worried about them rusting again you could media blast the piece and get it powdercoated to protect it.

Also, stop by the Newbie section and get the official welcome!
