Holy CRAP Mods can be hazardous to your health. Hope you heal up soon so you can finish the lights. They do look like a nice addition

Ok so what i did was use the wiring harness to hook up the bumper fog lights then I used a set of off the shelf conectors to hook the other lights up all them are the same factory fog light bulb. I perfomed a one handed in line splice and then heat shrinked the whole thing. Easy. Because my comp is programed to run the bumper fog lights when I spliced in the other lights I had no problems running them off the switch from the kit which I have had in my dash for weeks. O and if you look at the pictures of the lights you can see that the glass is different, one of the lenses broke in my truck and thankfully I was able to have speedy glass replace the lens for 2.99 instead of 150 for a new kit or 89 for none mopar replacement lights.

Default Finished

Well today in the early hours of a Friday morning I finally finished. Once I got the new harness I made spliced in it was great. Was done in 25 minutes and I had to answer the phone 3 times during the process. I think they look great and I tried to take as many pictures as possible to help any one else interested in doing this. It has taken me exactly one month since my little accident to finally finish this and I couldn't be happier.

Next Project lights behind my grill.

Looks great. My only question is how exactly do the fog lights mount in there? I see you cut away from the cutout so they don't mount there...

No the mopar kit does mount in the same location they just say to throw the insert out. I decided I wanted to keep it so I modded it

I like them and I cant wait till tonight to adjust them and get it all finished up

So with the mopar kit are they direct bolt on or do you have to do a bit of drilling to get the mounting brackets they provide to work? I am always looking for more ways to get more light and this looks like a nice clean way of doing it!

The kit uses the holdes the insert uses on the bumper then there is a hole on the bumper bracket for the 3rd bolt. You need your own bolts but no drilling. The only thing you will need to do is tap into your fog lights wiring harness for power and control off your stock switch. So I did mine in the easiest spot I could reach with the inline splice shown in pic 2.
