Prefect exactly what i wanted to hear. The fact alone you have traction problems till 45 gives me goose bumps. I guess Hemi fever will get my business then. Just have to wait for the 12s to be released. Thanks and keep me posted if you don't mind. I hate having all this power and not being able to use it. And that damn MDS is driving me nuts constantly searching for gears. That can't be good on the Tranny.

@ your goose bumps..seriously though, its a pain in the butt, it takes a lot of practice launching it correctly...its no longer as simple as just mashing the pedal to the floor. I have the MDS turned off..I can't stand it, especially after my longtube headers.

Are you still running your stock wheels and tires? Right now i can foot brake to about 2k and it will break loose and spin threw first. But 390 hp should be busting sideways every time i stomp on it. I had a F-250 dynoed at 350 rwhp and it would smoke my 37 x14s. The R/T with being lighter even though it's about 50 less rwhp should be allot stronger then what it is.

Even feathering the pedal and not flooring it, it still spins half way through first. Stock 22s with stock good years with 20,000 miles on them. These trucks have plenty of spinning potential, but traction control and torque management prevent some people from spinning.

Running the canned 93 perf tune on my R/T right now. Just punching it from a dead stop with the traction control turned off roasts the tires all the way till 2nd gear and yes the truck is going sideways. For a canned tune its pretty nice but after about 70-80mph it feels like its falling a little flat on its face. Only have afe cai and mufflex 14" muffler on my truck. Also took it up to 120mph, its nice knowing that im not capped at 105 anymore.

Looking to get a fastman tbody, vararam intake, and possibly long tube headers before contacting hemifever for a tune.

Nice! The 105 is a joke i did get in a little highway race with a 96 Cobra hung right in for a bit then he shot past me I looked down to see 105 and dead in the water looking stupid. Even though i have noticed allot of body roll so even at 105 it gets pretty sketchy. I can only imagine 120.

Yeah it still kept going strong once it hit 120 but i didnt have the trinity hooked to log top speed or anything so i shut it down. Didnt plan on doing that run but it was late out and no one around on a flat highway and i took advantage.

I havent even tried stalling it up to 2k, im still on stock 22's and goodyear forteras with 23k on them and ive got no traction in first gear. Hopefully i get a chance and can get a few vids of my truck blowing my tires away.

As for results, I feel like I haven't done enough testing to give you guys full info on this stuff. But really, the canned 93 performance tune from diablo isn't nearly as good as Hemifever's tune. Hemifever's tune is also way faster than B&G's tune that I had. A buddy of mine has a cummins has an efi live tune, a stall converter, exhaust, and possibly some other stuff done to it. Me and him race regularly. Before my B&G tune, he flat out beat me. After my B&G tune, I could hang with him until 90 at which point he blew by me. Last night with Hemifever's tune, I beat him. The crazy thing is, he actually put an upgraded turbo in it two days ago. He was surprised to say the least. I'm pretty sure he was expecting to slaughter me. On a side note, since I only have 2WD, he doesn't use his 4WD against me. He'd most likely beat me with his 4WD on.
Very nice. I may have to contact Hemifever for some custom tuning after some more mods. If you have a chance, see if you can do some 0-60 and 1/8 mile times with the trinity. It would be nice to compare to mine to see the improvment.

^Pic of my truck on Hemifever's FB page

By the end of this week, I'll most likely have some times, I'd prefer to do 1/4 mile though..cause my traction problems will have less of an impact on my 1/4 mile times. Besides, top end is where this new tune shines!

I got the truck dyno'd today, but I'm a little hesitant to post results cause the numbers seem unrealistic. I dyno'd at 395 RWHP and 415 RWTQ with Hemifever's tune. I picked up about 30 RWHP from the tune according to before and after dyno pulls with the stock tune and then Hemifever's tune.
