Okay. short and sweet. when i punch it, the power is there... but getting to cruising speed without punching it, and when on the highway, i feel a lack of power. Like the engine isnt breathing. I have aftermarket exhaust, so maybe next step would be, cold air intake to counteract, and a tune??!

When I changed my exaust to true dual, I noticed a major difference in power. I havent added an intake yet, but I imagine it would help a little but not much. I am thinking for me it is a back pressure issue. I have true duals, with a one chamber muffler. Too much flow? Maybe.

CAI deffinately helps sure its less then 10 mph gain. Essentially all the engine is, an air pump. You would notice a gain back in the responsiveness. Along with a noticeable sound of flow coming into your engine.

Id check your intake and filter.. see if it needs cleaning for now. If your not getting the easy cruise feeling its probably struggling for air a bit. Ever change the plugs, it could help? If you havent yet you also want to clean your throttle body if your past 80000 miles.

Tuning is the best thing you can do. Intake/exhaust are subtle, and go well together when you have all three.
