Default Level,wheel and tire input

Ok I am new here. I have searched this site high and low looking for the best level, wheel and tire options. I think I have narrowed it all down, but still have a few questions I know have been beaten to death around here. So here it goes, be easy on me please!

First, I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 2WD, crew cab.

I want to level the truck with the 2.5 level kit and get the 2 inch longer shocks so there is no issues. Were can i still find the 2.5 level kit?

Wheels and Tires: I want the eagle alloy 063 Black in 18X9. See picture below. Now you can only get these with a -12 offset. Tire choice would be 295/70/18. I am ok with them sticking out some, but not to much. Another forum member (kcbigbadram) put a picture of his ram with 20X10 wheels with - 24 offset with 295/60/20 tires. (see picture below) I like this but would like to see mine sit about half as wide as his. Do you think I can get close too or right on what I am looking for with this setup?

Thank you for any help you can offer. It will be a few months before I get this project done, but will be sure to post some photos when I do

I think I might have answered this already....somewhere.
Compared to the pic you posted (Kcbigbadram) the wheels you picked will sit inward about 1" from where his sits. With the 1" narrower rim they will sit in about 12mm (stick out 12mm less than his) then subtract the offset difference -12mm puts it at almost 1" (24mm)..So his wheels and tires stick out 1" further than the wheels you picked.

NWRQC, Thanks for the help. This is kind of what I was thinking and hoping as that would sit just about the stance i had hoped for.

I am sure you guys get this almost same question every other day. But I searched high and low and just want to be sure before spending $1,700

Thanks again!

I have a 2012 Ram QC ST.. I put the fatbob's 2 " level on mine and it sits perfectly level, from some angles it looks like the truck sits a little higher in the front.. I would consider the 2" if I were you. Less wear on the front end parts and 2.5 will sit higher in the front. Unless you plan to put on a 1/2 lift on the rear.

I got a 20x9 with 0 offset and 33x12.50 20 tires, I am extremely happy with the results it gets complimented all the time..

Mikeaob,

Great info. I appreciate it man. Truck looks awesome. One last question for you, did you go with the shocks with the fat bob level kit? 2wd or 4x4?

No problem, happy to help.
I thought that maybe you had already posted a similar question that I had answered, it looked familiar. But I guess not.
Post up some pics when you are done!

Its a 2wd , And no I did not buy the shocks with the kit although I reccomend it. The stock shocks are fully extended and it is pretty bouncy.. I have some Rancho's on the way..Thanks
