Default want to try new leaf springs

i was wondering if there was any way that i could take the one ton leaf springs and put them on my half ton? looking to lift the rear a little bit and not have the truck squat so much when i got stuff in the bed, and if i can do it is there anything else i would have to change to make them fit right? any info on that would be a big help

Go to a junkyard and pull the main leafs from something which is close to but shorter than your main leaf, keep the same width in mind. You can pick up about 2" that way, and maintain ride quality, tho a bit more firm. Simply cut the loops off with a chopsaw or torch. Your u-bolts should be long enough to accomodate 1 extra leaf, but you will need to make new centering pins, for the axle. use grade 8 bolts, and round the heads to fit with a grinder to fit the axle brackets. This is a simple Saturday project, and if you have a wheel hop problem in snow, it will disappear.

Have you already done your additional leaf DodgeRam360? I put the 3inch wide springs on my 1500 when my factory 1500 springs took a dump on me, took a day working in a parking lot but man do I love it. Just want to take the lift blocks out and shave about 1 inch or 1 1/2 off of the 3inch wide lift block to get the height I want.
