Best for the money is a Magnaflow muffler, and a Y-pipe. Total parts and install will run between 150-250 bucks depending on your shop rates

Im very happy with my Flowmaster american thunder series..fairly quiet cruisin along but slam the foot down and she sounds amazing as that hemi revs into its powerband ...I added a CAI from K&N 63 series as well to get good flow on both ends cant wait for a tuner release to add next

Does changing the exhaust require any remapping for the computer or anything like that?

Vic Jacoby,
If you mean cat back exhaust, no.
I think shorty headers would be ok.
The stock ECU will accept this.
Another poster did the full change, maybe he will chime in here.

My suggestion...get a local shop to fab up a y-pipe to replace the stock muffler. My local shop did it for $80 and it sounds great. Aggressive all the time and loud when you want it to be ...
