Default New System in my 2010 Ram 1500 Crew Cab

For starters: My truck is a Ram 1500 Crew Cab Sport with the upgraded Alpine system including the sub under the rear passenger seat. That sub will be removed and put up for sale....

The new setup will include 2 Rockford Fosgate P1S4-10 subs powered by a Rockford Fosgate R500-1D. RF has a nice 8 gauge complete amp install kit I've ordered. The guys at East Coast Customs in Greenville, SC are doing a custom enclosure under the back seats. From my under standing they are using the under seat storage as the bottom of the box by coating it and lining it with Dynamat. It will be a sealed setup due to limited air space. They did a system in a Tahoe I had a few years back and it was a first class build. I'll put up pictures at the beginning of next week. All the materials are ordered and awaiting delivery on Monday. I'll take some videos too to give you guys an idea of how it sounds. Throughout this process, budget was stressed and I'm thrilled with the final cost.

I highly recommend this setup to anybody looking further than a prefabbed box. Everything sounds very clear and has a nice deep bass. After having a ported box with 2 12" Cerwin Vega Vmax's in my Tahoe I was skeptical on getting a system in the truck due to the lack of space. Needless to say I'm quite suprised from the outcome. I rode in many trucks that had the knocking sound of bass and hated it. It was a great relief when I picked up my truck and it had that same deep bass I was looking for. I'll try to add pictures and videos here shortly. And Rockford Fosgate gives you what they advertise, my 500watt 500-1D amp had a tested 562watts RMS.
