Default Wheel offest

I'm looking online at purchasing a set of 22x9.5 Boss 338 wheels with 285/45-22 tires. they have an offset of +14mm. Is this the correct offset for my truck? Thanks in advance

depends, are you running a lift? a level kit? if so what size and whos the manufacturer? most members on a stock truck will run between a -12mm or =0mm offset

hope this helps

Thanks

My truck is 2wd, stock ride height. I do plan on lowering the rear 2" to level it out in the near future

yea youll need a wheel spacer and lowering the truck those tires are gonna be really close to fitting, most put a level kit up front on there 4 wheel drives to get 35's to fit, you have 35.5's i would reccomend a smaller tire if your going to be dropping the truck, 2 wheel drives sit lower than 4 wheel drives, some 4x4's are able to get 35's to fit stock with the right offset wheel, however on a 4x2 i do not think this is going to be possible, so i would for sure level the front with the rear not the rear with the front, or get smaller tires and if you decide to level the front id run a 1.5" hub centric wheel spacer all the way around. This is just what i would do to insure proper fitment hopefully someone else chimes in to verify with me or has a better option for you.

Thanks

Unless my math is off a 285/45-22 is 32" tall and the stock size on the R/T, its actually an inch shorter than my stock 275/60-20's

you are right my fault i thought he had said 325x45's so yes a 285x45 should be fine with no rubbing and if you drop the back these would work perfect, that is my fault, OP I apologize for the mis information.

Sorry
