Default Tie Rod End Issue

Hey guys, so have a question. In the spring I had moved and required to have an out of province inspection done... I was surprised when the shop told me that my drivers side outer tie rod end was worn and needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection. still under warranty only 40 000km approx at that point I had it replaced and all was good... now just a month ago I moved again and required another out of province inspection in a different province. only 15 000 km later approx and same issue drivers side outer tie rod end... of course no big deal still under warranty had it replaced and all good.

However my question is what is the underlying problem, what is causing this excessive wear? I would like to have the issue solved obviously before warranty runs out.

Any thoughts?

I know this is a necropost and you have likely resolved your issue, but since people read these threads to find answers if the same issue pops up in their truck I will go ahead and answer. This sounds like it may be an alignment issue.
