my diablo has throttle sensitivity settings, it wants to jump when i barely press the peddle, can datalog on the fly, change numerous settings, check and clear mil codes and a bunch of other stuff... so you could pay 350 for 1 device that does one thing or pay less for everything else.. i dont doubt it can do what it says, but us more serious performance modders just can't justify it... but good luck with that..

Chefred... Your 2005 works on a cable throttle.. This really only pertains to trucks whom have an electronic throttle.. ide hate to say it. but.... there is no need to be a "serious modder" when the factory gives you near 400 ponys matched with the same torque and a five minute install just realeased it all!! I'm done with defending the product.. I just hope some of you other 2008+ model year 5.7er's take my advice.. best of luck !

Sounds awesome, I'm gettin one! I for one think $300. is a bargain if it works like advertised. Besides who can argue with 2 guys garage and who the heck knows when a tuner will be available if ever!

I also picked one of these up... granted I would never pay 350+ for one.. your performance shop is raking you over the coals as I paid 180 for mine in Alberta.

It definately doesn't give the truck any more power.
With the stock truck and 22" wheels I could barely get the tires spinning even using the brake. Install the sprint booster and simply flooring it from a stop will send the rpms climbing and i'll leave a good 10 feet of rubber. Add a little brake into the equation and it's even better.

There is zero throttle delay anymore. When you want to go, it goes. But like it's been mentioned in the posts above, the pedal is extremely sensitive at the extreme setting.

The only problem I have with any of these trucks is that there is no way to prevent an upshift. In my 06 srt8, the diablo tuner allowed you to hold a gear until you shifted up. The reason it's annoying is that when you take off from the box, the tires spin and it shifts to 2nd... tires stop spinning and the computer says "hey we're still going slow enough for 1st gear", so it down shifts again for all of a second or 2, then shifts back to 2nd.. I wish there was some sort of trans tuning you could do with the trucks, as there is with the LX platforms..

Where in Grande Prairie did you pick it up for 180? I also live in GP, sold my 09 Sport and now have a 12 sport. I would like to try one out.

No offense to bigrig, but I wouldn't pay more than 50 to 75 bucks for one of those things, and he sounds like a salesman for the product.
