Default Looking into this receiver

has anyone see/used this receiver? I like the OEM look with all the extra options. Opinions welcome!

Not impressed. All they mention is the features it has. But I really want to know the internals...
24-bit d/a converters?
four layer circuit board design?
full-custom high capacitance power supply capacitor?
3-way digital networks?
9 band eq.....NOT ENOUGH!! I want L/R independent 16 band eq's
auto time alignment?
auto eq?
Seems to me you spend a lot of money cause it looks factory, BUT it also performs like a factory HU. If Iam gonna spend good money...it better have all the goodies
Again....not impressed!

"Factory" is it's appeal (to me anyways). It provides a factory deck with pre-outs. Less likely that someone would break into my truck to steal it. Not to mention that aftermarket receivers use "kits" that dont even come close to looking OEM.

Its a product made by audiovox, which would draw some away from it, but what they're doing is interesting. More than a few people here have started threads looking for a DVD or NAV receiver, but not wanting all the bells and whistles. The stock look also has its appeal. Have you sourced a vendor? Price and availability?

While its not a product that I might be interested in, I could see myself buying something like this for someone who just wanted a step up from a base radio without over-complicating things. Post back with details if you end up purchasing one, I'm curious for more info.
