Here's a still shot from a video of that pass....it was almost a disaster. That happened on 3 passes that weekend....it was a boost controller screwign up and ramping in too hard at the end. All 3 times are in this video starting at about 47 seconds in.

What's the HP numbers on the Camaro? Can I guess...is it more than 2000 HP? I luv those videos...gotta be a 'full blown' idiot to drive those things, lol!

Geezem, not many water blocks can take that much HP. I take it they fill half the block solid...other than it being billet I'm sure, what's with the block and heads to be able to withstand the HP? And btw, I'm stealing the videos for my fb page, hope you don't mind. I'm all about wild videos as long as I'm not in them.

They're solid billet....no water. 644" 5.75 bore spacing.
Motors are built by Jeff Naiser at NRC in Houston....he's real, real good at what he does.
Bad tune-up's will hurt them before anything else....the power is brought in over the course of the run so it's only at max for a second or two.
The last bad tune I remember was a couple of years ago....flame cut the back of the block/head bad enough you could stick your finger in through the hole and touch the valves. At 60K a pop for long blocks the tuners try really hard not to do that. lol
