Add another to the list of failures... my 2011 5.7 Hemi with 140,000 miles. Six bent valves, bent push rods, and damage to the cam and rollers due to the tensioner failing.

Does the newest part number work on 2009-2011 hemi engines? If so, what all is involved with replacing this with the newer version of the tensioner?

RamTech,

I'm new here and haven't contributed anything. I've just learned a lot of good info.

I just want to say thanks to you. You are truly a guru of Ram Trucks!

2 of your other posts perfectly answered my question about my truck. No one asked you to post, you just posted awesome technical info.

Thanks man!!

Wondering if people are proactively taking their truck in to have this addressed?
