I've had the Rhino in the past on two different trucks, and I experienced fading on both. After about 18 months in the Louisiana sunshine, it started to look a little grey, rather than the black that it should've been.

I never had any issues with chipping, etc. It held up well, even took quite the beating on both trucks.

I have no experience with the other two spray ins...

Anyone know for sure that the factory spray is Line-X? I have Line-X in my current truck and I have been very pleased with it. What I see on RAM factory sprayed 2012 models doesn't look as good. The main reason is that it isn't an over-the-rails application and the plastic rail protection looks borderline tacky. Also for some reason it just appears to be a thinner application to me.

I'm pretty sure its Line-x. You can't do over the rails. If you tried to remove the plastic piece that is on top of the rails you would find a bunch of holes, and it is not smooth under there either. Either way the plastic rails are staying. Unless you work at a body shop and want to fix all the holes.

I'd bet anyone lunch and beers that the factory liner IS line-x but I don't know how we could prove it...

Had a line-x in a truck for 8 years. It faded a bit but not enough to care and it held up perfectly. They have a uv coat that they can sell you now but if you use your bed often it won't last. Had the Rhino in 8 company trucks and it was not good at all. Was soft and chipped easily. Have a Bullet liner which is the same as line-x I just got a much better price with the bullet along with a guaranty against fading. Might be one of those out-of-sight guaranties but the price was right and it looks great so I'm happy with it.

Interesting. What is the reason for perforating the bed rails?

I had line-x on my previous truck and liked it so much I had it put on my new one. My brother has rhino on his truck and I didn't like the look or feel of it. Rhino seems to fade quicker and appears to be softer texture. Only problem with the line-x it's hard paint on the bottom of my wooden pram.
