Depends on driving habits and what type of driving but highway I always get 20mpg + even at 80mph. City like to/from work cruising with lights every now and then and little traffic about 17mpg. City like stop and go for a long time in rush hour traffic probably more like 14 or so mpg.

I used to avg about 18mpg no hwy but that was all to and from work. Been doing a lot more stuff in the city lately and a lot of sitting still and my mpg avg's have been in the 15's.

Wow, that's brutal for any truck, and you have a 1500 RCSB 4x2 Express? You should be getting 20s easily on the highway with 4x2. Maybe you have a lemon.

Normally get 14.1 but yesterday 15.2 in town with hand calculations. My truck normally reads off by 1.3 mpg better than hand cal. but yesterday truck showed 15.3 average, closest its ever been. No mods and 87 octane.

Default How does EVIC calculate average MPG?

Does it average over all the miles since the last reset? Or does average over some preset number of miles? I'm talking about a 2012 1500 5.7.

13.8-14.1mpg city (305/35/24's) even with OEM tires I only got 15.2 ish city. Havent really been on the freeway with it yet. (4.7L with 2k miles) Will the mileage get better with time? Can someone confirm an actual increase in MPG's with a K&N drop in or a CAI. I'd def like to see better mileage. I baby mine on the road even more with the 24's.

I get 12 mpg city on a great tank. About 14-15 at 65 mph flat ground with cruise set.

Only "performance" mods I have are:

dual exhaust with 18" magnaflow
K&N drop in filter

I also have 33" tires and 4.10 gears
