Default Two problems: clunk on bumps and highway vibration

So i am having two issues...

1) When i am driving around at normal speeds and i drive over a bump, i hear a clunking noise. Sometimes the truck will also jerk to one side. I am thinking either the strut mount or ball joints??? I haven't done any serious investigation yet but would i be on the right track and would there be any symptoms differentiating one from the other, other than physically deteriorated appearance of course.

2) When i am cruising at highway speeds at roughly 70 mph, i get a vibration noise. It seems to relieve mostly when i get to about 85, and sometimes goes away when i let off the gas. u-joints possibly?

Your on the right track. I'd say for sure ball joints and possibly a u-joint. Does she clunk hard when you put her into gear?

While you're at it, check your tie rod ends.
