It's really REALLY easy. First you can use a flat head screw driver to loosen the clamp that holds the intake onto the TB. Then just pull the intake off the TB.

For the Hemi Hat just gently pull up and pull it towards you and it will come right out. Just push the hoses down that are underneath it.

For the TB itself it has four bolts and the electrical connector. I think the bolts are 7MM... not 100% on that. They aren't very tight at all. Take those four out and disconnect the connector and that's it.

Swap, replace, and your done!

I'm thinking about buying a Moes 85MM throttlebody as I'm still hunting for a little bit more mpg. Yes yes I know it's a hemi and that it's not a hybrid but I'm still looking for some more mods for hp and a tad more mpg. Right now I have a S&B CAI and just got a Diablo Intune sport programmer that I'm currently running on the 87 tune with 89 octane. And I also went down from 305/60/20's to 275/60/20's (so much smoother ride). Any help is useful! I've been told to get one but I really haven't done much research on it myself.

Change to the 93 tune and you will get better mpg, but at a higher cost for premium. I would also recommend switching to 100% gas versus the ethanol version. It will cost slightly more, but will give you results that are measurable. Here is my test that may be helpful to you.... http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=102343

Hey thanks so much for the reply! I'm going to do some looking around tomorrow after work and I'm sure I can find atleast one gas station around here to fill up at! Also, I noticed in some of your posts that you were running the 93 tune on 91 octane? I've read places where guys are saying that your tune should never be higher than the octane? Thoughts?

Once again thanks for your input! Ohh and the test you did was great!

Wouldn't a larger throttle body worsen gas mileage?
