D33K, you got 35" MT or AT pro comps?

I've got 3.55's and 35's. I tow an enclosed trailer with quads and a dirtbike to the dunes several times a year. Trailer fully loaded is about 5500lbs. Freeway is mostly flat and I average 9 miles a gallon when doing that trip. The truck tows it great but you definately know its there when taking off or stopping. Thank god for trailer brakes cause the truck struggles to stop without them. I would love to switch to 4:10's but the money isn't there right now. I was quoted $2200 for parts and labor about 6 months ago.

Thats about what I saw when towing a similar load across the pass. 8-9mpg towing and I would average about 11.5 in town. W/out a load I would get 15 or so on the highway. That was 35x12.5x20's w/a 4" lift and 3.92:1 gearing.
those were hand calculated numbers, as the lie-o-meter would read a little higher.

I have 3.55 with 33" MTs as an upgrade from stock 245/65/17 ATs. Immediately big noticeable lose of acceleration/power. Mileage dropped from 14.5city 19.5hwy to 12city 15.5hwy and 11hwy when towing 3000lbs (trailer w/ ATVs).
