With tint strip they said it works with reverse osmosis. Gets the moisture on between the tint and the glass and wets the glue again. If you do it right it should peel off like 95% of the glue with it. Then the ammonia and razor to clean up the spots. I usually coat the whole glass in the ammonia and razor blade the whole window. The glue turns from clear to yellow so you can see any spots you missed.

Okay well i decided to try a cheap easy method. I used nail polish remover which did the job. I tried heating one window before pulling the whole tint, and i didnt find a huge difference, although my tint was easy to pull off and i was using a hair dryer. It took me about 2 hours to remove the rear side windows and the back window. It cost me under $5 so I am happy with that. The glass looks amazing now! As far as any tips if you do this. use ALOT of nail polish remover, i used two and half bottles, and open all the windows you not cleaning because the fumes are awful

Unhappy New window tint makes truck smell like Amonia

I just got a medical exclusion from the DMV here in AZ, so I took my 2014 RAM Sport to have the driver and the front passenger seats tinted 15%, which is how much sun is still let in, the back passenger seat were already limo black 50% as well as the back seat, the tint on the back windows was too dark after I added my Shell/cap and tinted all three of those windows limo black.

Well, having said that, I had the Specialists here in AZ remove the limo tint from the glass behind the back seat, and install a lighter tint, and now everything looks perfect and life's good.

However my truck has been reeking of Amonia for four days. The fumes are getting me very agitated and are giving me painful migraines, so can someone please help me and tell me the best and quickest way to get this stink out of my truck ASAP . Thank you.

I just had my front windows and windshield strip done yesterday. Cost me $100 at Ziebart, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
