If cab lights are for a real man, what should a lady's man do?

let me rephrase this, EVERYONE should have cab lights. now unless you lower your truck that's the only excuse for not having cab lights.

now a ladies man would have integrated cab lights with turn signals.

Arth,

How complicated was dropping the headliner?

Brad made pics for the relays so even an Army guy like myself can wire them.

Whats the approximate spacing for the lights?

I'm not Arth, but I'll answer your questions

The headliner is easy to drop. If you get the Recon lights is comes with instructions of how to drop it down. The Mopar lights come with a templete to lay on the roof and drill holes accordingly.

I just laid mine on the room and eyeball'd them. Then I spaced them exact with a tape. Its actually pretty simple once you get up there and do them.

Matt, when you dropped the headliner could you see the backside of the overhead console?

Default Improved wiring diagram

I don't know who this person is that came up with that wiring diagram, but tell them to stop! It's terrible!

What is needed to operate the cab turn signal is an exclusive OR (XOR) gate. That means they light up when the signal OR the marker light is ON, but NOT when they are both OFF or both ON. Here's how you do it...

When using relays, you generally only use pin 30 for power in and 87/87a for power out of the NC/NO contacts. In this instance, the 87a NCs are not used and not shown. One side of each relay coil is connected to power from the marker lights. Then the other sides are connected to the Left and Right turn signals. This way, when either light is on, there is power on one side to close the relay, but when they are both ON or both OFF the relay is open because both sides are powered or grounded so the relay is open.

Default Improved wiring diagram v2

Added relay to power center lights and notes.

Also, this flashes outer cab lights with FOB lock/unlock command and turns 4-way flashers into 6-way whether the parking lights are on or not.

I'm working on making the center lights flash with the hazards too... but that is a little tricky.
