Default Bilstein cost question

I'm close to pulling the trigger on getting a set of 5100's to level out my 1500 4x4. Can I save any $ by buying them myself and having a shop install them or should I just let the shop order & install them? Also, could anyone in the SoCal area between LA and LBC recommend a shop to do the install and alignment? Thanks!!
